What is NETRIX?

            NETRIX is a Technical Team of JEC student solely dedicated for JEC technical support. NETRIX is group run by final year students and it is a non-beneficial group. This group has no personal gains therefore we all work on self-finance scheme. These Students will available at any time at any hours for any departmental work but that work should be technical such as

  • Software installation and providing support for that software
  •  Providing networking help, software creation for JEC departmental needs.
  • Software building for any department.
  • Maintenance of JEC websites and providing support to any cultural, technical and sport fest organized in JEC.

 

Aim of NETRIX team

  • To build a proper bridge between students and college faculty.
  • To encourage more technical oriented environment in JEC campus.
  • To encourage juniors in their projects.
  • To stop outsourcing of technical work which a normal students can do.
  • To encourage a more student oriented environment where a student should be able to take decisions.

 

Situations where NETRIX Team members have to work

  • There is no support and guidance from college faculty.
  • Situation may so weird that they have to work throughout the night and then also their work is not considered.
  • It may happen that these students are very badly humiliated by college faculty or by students of college.
  • There is no means of finance for their work then it’s the responsibility of these members to generated money by any means.
  • It may happen that only one member is heavily loaded with work.

 

Irrespective of these situations NETRIX members should not loose their patience and never misbehave with faculty members of the college. Members of this group should work as a team and should be able to justify their actions when asked.

 

Who Should Join?

Everyone is invited to join this group if they work according to the rules & regulations stated above for a certain period of time and after that signing a LOU(Letter of Understanding) with NETRIX.

 

 

After Joining NETRIX, the member will get:

 

  • A Black printed T-Shirt.
  • Identity Card undersigned by the Student Coordinator and Team Head.
  • Any kind of help from NETRIX Team members.

 

Incase of any violation of the above rules & regulations, the person will have to face a trial in front of Netrix Team head & college Faculties. If found guilty, he/she will have to surrender the ID card & T-shirt given by NETRIX.
